I’ve got some exceptionally exciting news: I’ve been working with the incredible team at EverAfterPrint on a novella and, as of this very moment, it is live on Kickstarter!
For those of you who might not know, Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform for creative pursuits. From books to stickers to films to zines and more, Kickstarter is where a lot of creative people get funding for their projects. It’s such an excellent platform for all sorts of creative endeavours, I’ve pledged to so many and I’m super excited to be using it with the wonderful EverAfterPrint for the novella I’ve been working with them on.
You can find plenty of details about both EverAfterPrint and this particular story on their their Instagram as well as on the Kickstarter itself. It’s a short, fantasy story following a character called Mae who’s embarking on a journey to reach the Blossom Tree where the Blossom Festival, which happens every ten years, is just about to begin. During this special time, people gather from all over the world in the hopes they will find their truest love beneath its branches. But Mae’s been delayed and has to cross the Caerlaecus Lakes, guided by a Lake Settler named Arushi, and she isn’t sure she will make it in time. It’s a story about fate and companionship in a world full of magic.
I’ve loved working on this story for the past couple of years, and the amazing people at EverAfterPrint have been such a dream to work with. Seeing the artwork they’ve created as well is such an exciting thing as an author, I couldn’t be happier with how it has all come together.
It would mean everything to me for this book to be successful at the end of this Kickstarter campaign. Here’s the link again, so please feel free to check it out. If you decide to pledge towards it, thank you so much, and I cannot wait to (hopefully) see this book be published very shortly indeed!
I cannot leave this without saying thank you to EverAfterPrint who have made this all possible. They’ve been so supportive and I adore their ethos. They’re a wonderful team and I couldn’t be more grateful to be working with them. So thank you for working with me and I wish you nothing but more success in the future.
